As every artist knows the urge to create is innate and irrepressible. For me, not being able to create art would be the same as not being able to breathe.

In creating my art whether it is altered book art, studio art quilts, quilted canvases or soft sculpture, I blend the needle arts of embroidery and quilting, fibers, fabrics, and found objects together with acrylic paints.

Through the manipulations of sewing and painting I express my love of color and my joy of taking an object and recreating a new of perceiving it.
