The figure intrigues me and one of my challenges is to capture the likeness of people: mostly people I know; but also ones I don’t know. In my practice I pursue the representation of our three-dimensional world using fabrics in a two-dimensional art form. Hue, value, and contrast are my tools. I also tell stories. Stories about conflict and resolution and stories about love: the love of a child, or the love of people who seem different.

These stories are my stories. Come and listen…
